I am rather confused about the concept of secularism."concerned with every matters rather than the church." is the dictionary meaning.That means the state has no business with any religion.That is a very beautiful concept when there are countless religions in a state.Impartiality OR neutrality as far as religion is concerned.I think it is very suitable for India where countless religions are there.May be the Indian rule makers have very purposely adopted this concept in order to do justice to all religions.So the state should not inter fear with matters of religion.We should not be asked about our religion or caste in any of application forms of the govt.But what is happening in India is quite contrary.They are helping and promoting one or two religions by destroying major religion.Is this trend correct as per constitution of India ?
